contents and widgets/sidebars will not all be in 1 column unless you've broken something. so you will have to check your CSS.

Thanks for response Helga.

What I mean is all my content, widgets, ads, etc. went into one column. I'm sure I will have to mess around with the CSS, but I will have to look at it later as developing locally w/xampp is something I'm not familiar with. Not really a developer.

Thanks.

But when I do that, it ends up having everything in one content area

???? don't understand what you mean by this.

if you apply the 3c-fixed.css layout then you will get 2 columns, w/ a sidebar on each side.. i believe primary is on the left and secondary on the right.

if you can't play w/ the live files (you could always go into maintenance mode for an hour, your site won't die) then you can develop locally w/ xampp

Hi,

I'm wanting to add a sidebar to the left of the content on my blog for ads. I've done some digging around and replaced the CSS

* Apply a basic layout */
@import url('../thematic/library/layouts/3c-fixed.css');

But when I do that, it ends up having everything in one content area. It is a live site that is bringing in some traffic, so I can't play around with the CSS right now, but can someone give me an idea of what I need to do to accomplish this.

tweetscenter.com is the URL. Thanks in advance.

Eddie
