<description>&#60;p&#62;At the top of the main area of the home page, I would like to add to my child theme a graphically attractive blurb that says briefly something like ...welcome, this is what the site's about, and what you can expect to find here. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;A specially styled sticky post would probably work, but, I don't necessarily want it to link to anything, I just want it to be there. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thoughts on how best to do this? I'm not even sure I'm asking the question the right way, so any help is welcome. Thanks.
