Hi kidslovemusic,

judging by the image that comfortinsound06 linked above it looks like a CSS z-index issue to me. It's hard to say when there is not a link provided to demostrate the issue on a live website.

Hi,

I'm pretty new to theme development using child themes using hooks etc. I've looked through the Wiki and forums but can't seem to find an answer for my problem.

I'm currently developing a theme for my local sports team.

I am having a little trouble with positioning of a plug-in I am using in my theme and also the thematic menu items are appearing behind the plug-in.

The plug-in I'm using is http://www.iwebix.de/wp-content-slideshow-javascript-slideshow-plugin/

I have placed it into my template using the following code in functions.php

function wp_content_slideshow() {
include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/wp-content-slideshow/content-slideshow.php');
}
add_action('thematic_belowheader', 'wp_content_slideshow');

The issues I'm having are:

You can find a screen shot of my issue here: http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/6079/screenshotrj.jpg

One: The thematic menu items are now appearing behind the plug-in. So when I hover over a menu item I cannot see the drop drown items from the menu as they appear behind the plug-in.

Two: The plug-in is appearing on the left of the screen. What code do I need to add to place the plug in within it's own Div tag so I can position it using CSS?

Any help is much appreciated.
