check out my menu thread:
http://themeshaper.com/forums/topic/thematic-menus-demystified-1

but i think the class you are looking for is .sfHover the class is added to the LI element (if i remember correctly) by the supersubs (or superfish ) script, so it isn't there in the markup. it is added when the submenu is visible.

Hi guys,

I'm currently styling the Menu bar. Background is red, and the Menu Items text is white. When you hover over them the colours reverse.

When you hover over a menu with sub-items, the dropdown is the same as the top item which is hovered over - white background with red text. HOWEVER, when you hover off the top item down the list while the background of the top item remains white the text reverts to its original white too.

How do I stop that? What in the CSS do I need to modify in order to style the highlighted top menu item that isn't necessarily hovered over?

Thanks very much!

Stu. x
