That's pushing the focus of these forums a bit. Here are the first two places that I go looking when I'm struggling with apache & .htaccess voodoo.

Not the right forum for this I guess but this is a very nice forum… :)

I am trying to do a RedirectMatch on the apache server to save some old links. So the original link structure was "http://host/FMPro?foo". I want every link that starts with "http://host/FMPro?" to be redirected to "http://host/publications/"

I tried in apache

RedirectMatch FMPro(.*) http://host/publications/

This makes "http://host/FMPro?foo" become "http://host/publications/?foo" which oddly enough works, you get the correct page but the address bar of course looks wrong.

Regex expressions are not my favourite and my head is spinning trying to understand the documentation, does anyone have a hint for me?
