Hey guys,
I am 99% done with styling a new child theme based upon the featured-site theme. The one and only problem I am having is with sticky posts in the blog.

When the blog page is loaded the sticky post is displayed and styled exactly the way I want it. The problem is that when you load the actual post that was made sticky, the div formatting remains on the full post and doesn't look right. All I want to do is strip the "sticky" class from the post when viewing the post, but keep it when looking on other pages.

I have gone over all of the class tags for the div and its parent divs, and they are identical. I think some php in the functions file should help, since on the featured child theme it's able to get the post title pulled up and out of the content. If a function could remove the sticky tag when the post itself is viewed that would solve all my problems, but I am not that good of a programmer yet to know how to properly do this without breaking something else.

Any help whether direct answer, or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
