But I read that it now makes for bad meta data. How can I use this template with this removed, make e-commerce work and still get good meta data? Using a Revision >= 287 ensures that the Product Page will be displayed properly. Starting with Revision 287 I rebuilt the_excerpt(), the_excerpt_rss() and wp_trim_excerpt() to have an own set of protected functions to create a proper output for the meta tag description. Too many plugins are connecting to the_content, the_excerpt and the excerpt_rss causing weird problems if you're using these functions for generating the meta-tag "description". I've got a fresh install of 2.7, Thematic and a child theme running on my localhost. Everything is working great in the back end of wordpress, but the WP e-Commerce pages aren't showing up in the Thematic Theme. It works fine if I switch the theme. Has anyone else run into this problem? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.
