3 column, fixed sidebars, fluid center?

    Is this possible? I have pasted the 3 col layout from the library into my Child theme. I have sidebars on the left and right, but the center column is running into the right sidebar. I have tried EVERYTHING even attempting to rebuild these three columns from the ground up. Nothing is working. This should be so easy. I have tried different ways: floating left column left and right column right, floating all columns left with padding, margins to allow for sidebars. Yikes! Can anyone advise? Many thanks.
