I am building my first WP-Thematic theme. I've never dealt with hooks before. I don't understand how I add content to this hook as i understand, it will display content above the sidebar. The hook is called in my sidebar.php file for thematic.
How and where do i add content to this area?
What I want to do is have facebook / twitter logo links above the sidebar.
I've searched this forum and looked over the wiki. Thanks in advance for the help.

You need to add something like this to your functions.php file.
// Puts content above the asides
function my_above_asides() { ?>
put the code to display your content here
<?php }
add_action('thematic_abovemainasides', 'my_above_asides');</code
