Additing comments to sub page

    How do I allow on a subpage 1) for someone to enter a comment on the subpage and 2) for everyone's comments to be shown on a subpage?

    I have enabled the "Allow Comments" box under the "Discussion" section of the page editor, but nothing happens.

    I've also tried to add a custom field named "comments" per another post.
