Adsense code creates empty asides

    Hi, I'm starting a new blog and I'm trying to put some Google ads in the asides. I used the text widget to contain the Adsense code in the index-top and primary-aside. The result is that the space the ad should occupy is taken up, but it's white/empty. You can see it at http://wordpress-for-beginners.com/. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    The ads are displaying now. It just takes some time for AdSense ads to appear on your site.
