approaching two adsense boxes above sidebars in 3c-r

    Hi, I'm having difficulty trying to figure out the best way to approach putting two adsense boxes above my two right-side sidebars. What is the best way to approach this using child themes, and should I be using an adsense plugin to accomplish this? Because the boxes will be above the sidebars, I'm having difficulty figuring out how to incorporate them.

    I would modify functions.php and use the hook thematic_abovemainasides().
