Hi,
I would like to use the archives page as a news archive where posts are listed with their headline+excerpt instead of the monthly archive list etc.
I tried to modify the function thematic_monthly_archives for example, replacing it with the normal (index) loop. But unfortunately the posts are not being displayed on the page...
What's the best solution in this case?

Hi,
this can't work 'cause thematic_monthly_archives() is a function (action) for the archives.php .. and this page lists the archives by category and month. No posts.

I still not get the point .. you have a front page displaying all posts and you want a archive displaying all post?
Or should this be a CMS?
