   Hi there,

   Not to be unappreciative; I am very grateful for the help but also quite frustrated. I know this is in large part due to my absolute Noobness at this and some day I will cringe upon this post.

   I am just finding it incredibly difficult to find what I am looking for and I have noticed others mention the same thing.

   I am more than willing to contribute to the Wiki as I learn as I believe this is a super way of adding in-depth articles on a subject and a lot of examples but the Wiki does not seem to be working?

   I see that there are lots of great articles that have been written in the forums but too much time is spent looking for these articles, when all that really needs to happen is if someone asks a question and it has been answered a thousand times, they should be pointed to the Wiki.

   Could we maybe get that up and running or is it limited to a certain number of people at this stage?

   I don't mean to whine, but if you look at this from a complete beginner's point of view you might understand the frustrations in the learning curve.

   I'd really like to make Thematic my choice of Framework and would like to wax it to the point where I can make a valuable contribution.

   totally agree. trying to put some pressure on gene and chris to get the site moved so we can open up the wiki to people like you who are willing to add to it

   No there hasn't been. Our priority, atm, is getting an updated version of thematic pushed out to the wordpress repository. after that is done, i'm sure i can twist gene's arm into getting the new site live.

   it may or may not be your cup of tea, but anything you can do to help w/ the code will push us closer to doing things with the new site.

   i know we specifically need help with verifying that the internationalization files and new theme options meet theme review standards.

   if it isn't your cup of tea, you could always just start writing a few entries and storing them on your own computer. you could also do me a favor and take a look at my "primer" on hooks and filters.... and give me feedback on any parts that may or may not be clear. i think it makes tons of sense, but i'm biased since i wrote it.

   Please don't loose hope. We're in the process of putting more control of the theme docs and development into the hands of the community. When the time comes and I hope it happens soon, I hope to see all interested parties contributing.

   Thanks guys...

   @Helga: At the moment I am still learning a hell of a lot about WordPress and Thematic at the same time. As soon as I feel comfortable, I will most certainly like to help out where I can.

   @Others...Thanks for sending those links. I am glad to see others feel the same at that there is a movement on the subject. I just feel the sooner we can get the documentation sorted out, the less time we will spent on repeat questions on the forums and more time making thematic awesome.

   I will leave this thread now and continue on the others. :)
