Hi everybody!
I'd need to change the colour of whole package, background, lines and fonts of course.
I'm not smart with codes so I wonder if there's a child theme based on 'black colour' available to download, or alternatively how to customize the default one by myself (where it should be not a too hard task for my basic preparation).

i dont know of any dark themes. there aren't any here: http://themeshaper.com/category/thematic-child-themes/
guess you will just have to create the first. you customize the default by making a child theme. there are many tutorials out there and lots of info on here.

there is even a sample child theme IN the thematic file/folder that you can copy. but i also like to start from Devin's thematic options theme:

Thanks Helga,
the only interesting dark one I've seen by googling is 'Gallery' but it's too showcase images oriented for my needs which basically concern on music playlists, few partner's link and contacts info as I'm building the new site of my webradio.
I'll take a look to Cats tutorial.

My site - http://drecart.com/ is a Black Child Theme. The CSS needs to be cleaned up a little but if it's something similar to what you want, I can let you know the functions I used(Couple from Helga above, plus Chris and Devin......and others)
Try adapting from the Chromey theme http://tolusonaike.com/chromey I originally found it in the comments about Thematic at http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/thematic
i.e. http://wordpress.org/tags/thematic?forum_id=5.
It will need some modification for yourself.
or start with the SampleChildTheme in Thematic. CSS is fairly easy
body { background:#000000;}
in the style.css defines a black background
chromey actually uses #151515 (and a redundant image file)
checkout the colorpicker at http://www.w3schools.com/Html/html_colornames.asp to view colours.
@mpanda: Not sure what your project is, but remember that a dark background with light text is more difficult for extended viewing and legibility.
