Blogtitle text background/highlight

Hi there

I've been working on this for a while now, and can't get it to work properly.

I want the blogtitle text to be white with a black text-background/highlighted.. but when i change the css file to give the text the black background, it changes the color of almost the whole header. Why?

Hey,
.. and welcome on board ..

#blog-title is getting part of its settings from #branding. The width of #branding is set to 940px. If you set #blog-title to use a black background, this background will have a width of 940px.

Don't change the width of #branding .. this will change the position of #branding and #blog-title, because its centered. Add width:500px or whatever is best for you to #blog-title. This will reduce the black background of #blog-title to your needs.
