    Ian, I see that you are working to bring Thematic up to date to take advantage of WordPress 2.7 new features (http://themeshaper.com/forums/topic/thematic-for-wp-27).

    However, may I safely upgrade to 2.7 using the current Thematic version?

    Absolutely. ThemeShaper is currently using WordPress 2.7.
