    Hello -

I am trying to create a custom footer (basically some additional text, change the order of what is there, and add an image for a logo). I know that I can change the text in the thematic options, but cannot really figure out the best way to accomplish this. Can I add more custom shortcodes. I saw some info on using the $thm_footertext but not enough to where I understand where and how to use that. Thanks.

Okay, I accomplished some of what I wanted to do by adding a custom shortcode and adding it to the textbox in the thematic options. However, all of the text is on one line and I want it on two lines, so need to know how to do that. Also, how can I add a logo to it as well? Thanks!

  3. Hi Mike,

you can use HTML tags in your shortcode. Splitting up a one liner could be done with <br />' or with wrapping part of the text with<p> text ... </p>`.

An image / logo can be integrated the same way using the HTML code in the text of your shortcode.
