has anyone written a function that would allow for the setup of a menu (what pages are included) from within the WP dashboard? being able to specify the menu w/o having to go into the code would be great.
I envision it as another section on the "Thematic Options" page. Maybe just a list of pages with a checkbox next to them... check the ones you want to show up in the menu.

yeah i saw that was in the pipeline for WP3.0 the day after I had posted. I guess there is no point in developing this custom code when it is on its way in the core. I can't wait.
