   Hi,

   I'm new to Wordpress, and also new to Thematic.

   I've clean installed Wordpress 2.6, and added Thematic. I've also created a child theme with my own styles.

   The problem is that some posts on the blog home page don't display the date. For example, a new "post 1" will display the date, and then when I add "post 2" which correctly displays the date, then "post 1" won't display it anymore. However, in a single-post page the date will show up despite what's on the home page.

   I've switched back and forth between themes to the original untouched Thematic and the same thing happens. I even re-installed Thematic and still the same problem.

   The code on the rendered webpage shows no HTML text being output where the date should be, just empty <span> tags around that area.

   Please help!

   My first thought was that you had used the_date rather than the_time, but a previous post you stated you had used time, so that isn't it. Using the_date will result in only one post per day per page will show the date.

   Aw crap. I'm using the_date (hooks-filters.php line 46). 0.6.4.2 here we come. Once I have it fixed in trunk, I'll post the amended code here.

   Fixed in trunk.

   Anyone wanting to fix this themselves before I get the next version released can replace the code on line 46 of library/functions/hooks-filters.php with the following code:

   $postmeta .= get_the_time('F j, Y');
