can somone put up an image of thematic with the areas where the extra widgetized area appear? makes it a lot easier to choose which area to widgetize if i know where it is going to appear.

@uberschizo... a simple way to see "where the extra widgetized area appear?"
- from your Wordpress admin panel, go into the Design section
- select "widgets"
- add a text widget to each area you want to see in your blog
- label each text widget with the name of the area i.e. "index top"
- when you preview your blog you'll see the widget along with the text label so it's easy to spot
Marti, that's a good rational way to go at it. Still, there's a lot to be said for imagery within the documentation, for a bit of software attracting a large proportion of people who are primarily visual thinkers. Reading the section in the readme.html describing these enabled me to visualize them. Your process would do that too. But a simple set of diagrams would be the quickest way in for many.
