recent posts - so I am using the feature site for a project and noticed the recent post function is severely out of date, which is not surprising. However, how would I fix it so that the front page just displays the last post. I know this is kinda wordpressy, but still kinda thematicy. Here's my gist:

i'm not familiar with that child theme's specific functions. do you just want a link to the latest post? is the whole page supposed to just show the latest post? if not, what's on the rest of the page?
and yeah, this doesn't seem very thematic-related b/c it isn't how the child theme interacts with thematic it's about how you want to display something new.
