Gallery Theme - Randomize displayed thumbnails?

    I am setting up a gallery site with the "Gallery" thematic theme. By default it shows the thumbnails on the front page in the order they are posted to wordpress. What I want to do is have them randomly display, so that say when I have 500 images one day, not just the newest ones are on the front page... they will all get mixed up and it will be random which ones are displayed on the front page.

    I've tried a couple of plugins, but no dice. Any suggestions?

    on another forum, with alike question, i've responded by this link http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/get_posts#Random_posts

    but I dont know how use it with Gallery
    maybe, Do You know?
