This forum looks very helpful -- I have some idea of how to change the code, but would love a quick review/confirmation. The part I'm clueless about is if I create a banner image (which I assume I have to do?), how do I add it to the Thematic image folder (I think that's the advice I read).

I want the black and white image of the girl to be up there in the black header on the right, about where she is now horizontally but up in the header. I don't mind keeping the blog name and subtitle, or I can recreate them if I need to create a whole banner image for this. I think I also need to know how to get rid of that nice black line, too, if it will interfere with my image. Thanks in advance, I'm new at this so appreciate your patience very much!
