On IE7 the search box goes to the far left of the page and overlays the Home link.

On IE6 the entire menu becomes vertical. Other than adjusting colour and width, its pretty much untouched. The menu is WP 3.0 Custom Menu, so does it work out of the box with thematic?

Ok I think I have fixed the IE6 vertical menu problem, by adding float: left to .sf-menu a.

Can't test it though as I don't have IE6 since Im using Adobe BrowserLab.

Still have a problem with the search box.

  3. for testing ie6 you can download Microsoft virtual PC for free and also download an ie6 image for vpc to test.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/support/virtual-pc-2007.aspx <- xp & vista version of vpc. If you have win 7 a simple search for MS vpc should get you to the download page for that.

For the vpc images go here

Looks like the vpcs have expired.

Anyway I fixed it by using absolute positioning.

I still have a problem with overflow:visible. The menu overlaps the top of each page. Any ideas?

Problem was due to me giving #header a set height.
