Hi
I am using the power theme and is it okay to copy the default.css into the child theme style.css . I see that there are some overlappings which i want to do away with. Are there any complications in this approach and what is the best practice.

Hi Jimmy,
normally we recommend to do all changes in the style.css. You might miss fixes or additions in future Thematic releases when using a child theme copy of the default.css.

If you want to implement some radical changes compared to what is delivered in the standard CSS parts, you would use your own copies of these files.
