Is there a css file missing

    My redirections plugin is reporting lots of errors finding the file
    /wp-content​/themes​/thematic​/library​/styles​/sitemeta.css
    I have redownloaded the theme and looked in that folder and it isnt there.

    sitemeta.css is no longer existing. I think you missed at least one update of Thematic.

    But there must still be something in Thematic somewhere that is calling it for it to get logged as a failed request.

    I have only just started with Thematic and the only version that I have downloaded it the thematic.0.8.1.zip version that is the current one for download.

    I will have a search through the Thematic files and see if I can find and remove the reference, but I thought the idea was that we didnt modify the Thematic files at all.

    Sounds as if you're using a child theme and its style.css is calling sitemeta.css.

    I ran a search over my local Thematic repository. sitemeta.css is not referenced in any current Thematic file.

    I am using a chile theme, but it is the one that came with the theme, the 'my kick ass subtheme' one
    I havent edited it yet apart from changing the name of the child theme.

    Did I make a "kick ass subtheme"? Just get rid of the reference to sitemeta.css. It doesn't exist anymore.

    Sorry Ian, it wasn't you who made a 'kick ass' subtheme. I had been doing some work on a drupal development using the Genesis theme framework and it was there that there was a 'kick ass' subtheme.

    Regarding the css file I have worked it out now, it was from this page
    http://themeshaper.com/how-to-protect-your-wordpress-theme-against-upgrades/
    that i copied the code that had the sitemeta.css line in it. It might be worth editing it out of that page if you get a minute.
