My "Links" widget is not working - when I add it to an aside (doesn't matter which one) it allows me to set and save options, but it never shows on the page. Then if I go back to Appearance -> Widgets and look at the aside it automatically was removed!
I've reset the widgets but that didn't help. Using Thematic 0.9.7.2 and a child theme.
Other widgets work fine - Archives, search, Categories.

bump, anyone have any idea about this?
are you by any chance using the widget context plugin? i had an issue w/ thematic 0.9.6.2 (the one in the WP repo) w/ a few of the widgets (Search for sure, i wasn't using the Links one) not displaying properly while that plugin was activated. if you are, and disabling it solves the problem, then try upgrading your version of thematic to the latest stable dev version available at http://developing.thematic4you.com/thematic-development-release/

I've got the same issue - using latest stable dev version and have disabled the widget logic plugin (similar to widget context) and still not working.

Issue confirmed with latest svn 0.9.7 branch. Looking at this now. I'll report back when a fix comes through.

I believe this has been fixed in the svn branch r710. If you can give it a try I'd like to hear your feedback.
