Making Search Results Suck Less?

Does anyone know of a good way (plugin, functions.php, ?) to re-order the search results based on relevancy? Also it would be nice if the search excerpt included the search term and/or a method for highlighting the search term?

Hi Malcolm,

I really like Search Unleashed for the latter part of your request.
It gives you a helluva lot of options.
I don't think search relevancy ranking is one of them though.

See it in action by searching on my site for "augmented reality" or something.
