Could anybody please help me construct a widget with the following attributes:
1. select a image to display
2. widget title display below the image
3. text to display within the widget
4. must allow you to select pages that you want it not to show up (exclude)
Can anybody help?
What about something like this? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/image-widget/ Most likely it'll do all except number 4.

nou is there anyone to customise that widget to do number 4 ;-)
You could have a look at the code of this; http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-context/ it adds itself to every widget you have installed - could be handy.

I think that is a great widget thanx, but its not compatible with the latest wp version :-(
