Can anyone give me the PHP code to put in the functions page of my child theme to make the parent page link in the nav be a # link so it doesn't actually go to a page? Thanks.

Don't have PHP code for functions but the plugin "Page Links To" should allow you to do that.

I asked the very same question about 1 month ago and Chris helped me out.
It's not an ideal solution since it requires hardcoding but it's a workaround at least. I still have hopes for a better solution like I described in that previous post.
When I tried "Page Links To", it did not solve this problem for me. Seems like it ought to though.
