Pull image for featured post

    If this has been asked before, I'm sorry, I searched but didn't find anything.

    I found how to make a featured post widget on this forum however I'd like to display a custom image on the front page with the post in different dimensions to the post that will be included on the page.

    is there somewhere this has already been done that i can understand?

    Hi,

    as far as I can remember at least no one has published the code here.

    How much do you know 'bout creating filters, custom fields and get_post_meta() ??
