Hello Themeshaper,
thanks for the great theme Thematic, even I who dont know much about coding can handle it quite well (or at least, I hope I do so).
But sadly, I know nothing about how the functions.php works, so I want to know how I can remove the Related Posts in single posts. I want to use another plugin.

thematic does not have related posts by default, so my guess is you installed a plugin? if you want to use a different one, you should deactivate the plugin you no longer want.
if you are using a child theme that has related posts by default, then you should tell us which one. posting a link to your site (if you can) is also another good way to illicit better help. basically you have to help the forum help you.

Argh, I'm really sorry. It was a plugin that inserted his code snippet right after activation, I didn't notice that.
I'm creating an own child theme from scratch, so I was surprised by the related posts.
My bad...
