Removing WP Meta (Log in link)

    I am new to WordPress, Thematic and PHP and have been trying to figure out how to remove the Meta section from the sidebar in Thematic. When someone comes to my site, I don't want the log in link in the side bar. How do I remove it?

    The meta you speak of is a widget. From the Wordpress Admin menu, find the Widgets section, then inside the Widgets page take a look at all the Aside sections on the far right. Open them up till you find the one containing the Meta Widget. You can drag and drop the widget out of the Aside container it's in, or just hold your mouse in the bottom of the little Meta Widget window and there'll be a delete or remove button you can click.
