    Is there a way to change the sort order of the pages in the new dropdown menu?

    Be careful when changin the page order. Nuked my child page drop down: http://themeshaper.com/forums/topic/page-drop-down-for-childpages-nuked-after-changing-page-order

    Nevermind what i just said, it works flawlessly (I made an error). In the floowing screenshot (WP Admin > Edit Page) you can see where to put your desired page order:

    I had found that page order setting but had no luck getting it to work. I did find a plugin that would do what I wanted, though.

    you could try pageMash .. it's running on my blog without any problems.
