Themeatic and the secondary sidebar

    I'm new to Thematic, but not to Wordpress. I want to add some hard-coding to the right-hand sidebar, but I can't find the .php file that creates it. Can anyone help?

    Hi,

    could you please give me some more details?! Normally there's no need to hard-code something into the sidebar.

    Oh, I hard-code stuff all the time, but I'm just not used to the Thematic architecture.

    I wanted to add the call for WP-Cycle to the right sidebar. I couldn't find the right-hand or secondary sidebar. I've discovered that the CODE for it is in the sidebar.php file, beneath the code for the LHSidebar...

    I'm liking Thematic a lot, but there's defintely a learning curve...

    Major problem with hard-coding: Even if you copy the file to you child theme's directory, you might miss features coming with a new version of Thematic.
