For some reason, when I share a link from my website on Facebook the thumbnails will not display. Facebook will keep searching for it, but won't find anything. I already set image on the blog post to thumbnail, but still it won't show.
Can anyone help
PS: I changed my theme for now until I can solve this issue, but I really would like to keep using Thematic

i think facebook looks for <img> tags.... so if you aren't displaying an image somewhere it won't pick up any? but i dont really know.
Thank you. I read somewhere that there is a line needs to be added to the Functions php file, but i am not quite sure either. It's very frustrating ;-/

I'm having this same issue. It took me a while to realize that Facebook stopped finding thumbnail images right when I switched to a Thematic child theme. The problem is definitely on my end as Google+ is unable to find thumbnail images either.
My site is http://www.capitalfreepress.com/. Any thoughts?
has little to do w/ thematic i think. facebook needs open graph tags in the header to tell it pertinent information. thematic doesn't have these by default, but there there are plenty of plugins that adds the og tags or you could add it yourself to the wp_head() hook.

Was just about to post that it has something to do with the image specifically because I have open graph tags in the header and can successfully manipulate the title and description.
I'm going to try going back to my old theme to double check that it had something to do with the theme change.

Double checked by switching themes and it's not a Thematic issue. I'll look for help elsewhere.
