I have a category that I have a link to (important dates). It displays correctly, except it displays in order of newest to oldest. I need it to display oldest to newest instead. Now I read on the WP support forum that I can just find the page template that is being used and change the code before the loop to to do this, but I do not understand how to find that out. Can someone please help me with that.

Okay, I figured this out, but I do not think I did it the best way. I basically found the thematic_category_loop() function and added the following code before the Loop:
$cat = get_query_var('cat');
$page = get_query_var('paged');
query_posts("cat=$cat&paged=$page&orderby=date&order=ASC");That did the trick, but now I am curious (as I am still learning) - I added this directly in the content-extensions.php page and am wondering how I would have accomplished this using my functions.php file? Any help?
