where is template for category archive

    Hi!
    I would like pages of my site to appear exactly the way the category archives look when you click on the link from the sidebar, but I can't find the template anywhere! I don't want to have to figure out how to rewrite the loop when somewhere in the files there is a perfect template. Can anyone tell me where it is? ps I am using Thematic

    Category loop is in content-extension.php, Thematic's library >> extension.

    Thanks. I also see that the category page is being generated by category.php. So I tried to copy that file and save it as a template (template-categories). Then assigned the page that I wanted to appear as the category to the new template (it was in the list so I know I did that right). But for some reason, none of the loop was generated--just the header, sidebar and footer. Anyone know where I might have gone wrong?

    Boy, do I feel dumb. I just realized I could create a custom menu and assign the category pages to it. If all else fails, read the instructions :-P
