Justin... First off, this is a brilliant idea for a post. In one place I have found a bevy of some of the WordPress Community's most "Theme Savvy". A pure joy to hear their thoughts! What do I think about paying for a Premium Theme? Well, I am up for it. In fact I own a copy of WPRemix (although it will take me some time to get the hang of it with some elbow grease appropriately applied). Premium Themes, I think, are the way of the future, as theme developers, and WordPress itself, develops into a fully fledged and ultra flexible CMS system (some would say that it is already there). The internet itself is growing incredibly fast, and with the boon of Dot Asia at it's heels, it's set to experience yet another surge of input as new markets develop out of that. Which means WordPress will find itself in the hands of thousands more. Personally, I have a bent for simple and straight forward themes that are easy to navigate and are in alignment with the sites content style. Creativity, well creativity is definitely not bound by the publisher, but more than likely their audience. So for me it's about the content... Enjoy!

I don't see a downfall in premium themes. I see people charging for every little thing they do. And even for the REALLY crappy themes. Like one I just saw like two seconds ago for 35$. WP Themes are gonna go in a bad way.
