I love Lucida. It’s simply one of the nicest fonts around. Unfortunately, it’s hard to get it to look right across operating systems running default fonts—unless! Unless you use the Lucida Hybrid: The “Grande” Alternative. Now go make something nice.

I don’t like Lucida, it looks horrific in Firefox: blurred and hard to read.
