Designed by Automattic’s Caroline Moore, Libre brings a stylish, classic look to your personal blog or longform writing site and is now available for download at WordPress.org. Libre’s main menu stays fixed to the top while visitors read your posts, and three footer widget areas let you tuck extra content away at the bottom of the page. Two custom page templates, including a full-width layout, add visual variety. Make Libre your own by adding a header image or — with Jetpack — a site logo. Libre sports a clean, responsive design that lets your site shine on screens of any size.
I like this responsive theme and can be effective for a personal classic blog. Will try this theme for our client. Nice share.

If you’re running WordPress on your own hosting, you can download Libre here: https://wordpress.org/themes/libre/
If you’re hosted on WordPress.com you can activate it in your dashboard, or from the showcase here: https://wordpress.com/themes/libre
If you’d like to use
Really love it, but where to put a search form? Can it be put as a menu item, so that it’d collapse with the other items on narrower displays? How would I do that? Edit header.php? Add get_search_form() somehow?
You could certainly hard-code a search form into header.php but be sure to use a child theme if you do that so your changes won’t be wiped out every time you update the theme to the latest version. Please post in the Libre support forum if you need further help.
